How to check these facts yourself

You don't have to take this page's word for it. Before you pay, you can check each point in the members area:

  1. The company and terms. The members terms name the operator and set out renewals, cancelling and refunds.
  2. The price and billing name. Both are shown at checkout, before you confirm a payment.
  3. Cancelling. Settings > Billing shows your membership and its renewal; cancel there.
  4. Deleting. Avatar > Settings > Delete Account removes your profile.

If anything on this page doesn't match what you see in the members area, please tell us through the help centre so we can fix it.

Questions people ask

Is Oasis Singles legit?

It's a real, paid dating service run by a named company, with published prices, terms, and a way to cancel and delete your account. As with any dating site, members' own descriptions aren't checked, so use the usual care with people you meet, and never send money to someone you've only met online.

How do I stop paying?

Go to Settings > Billing in the members area and cancel. Memberships renew automatically until you do, so cancel before the renewal date if you don't want another period. Cancelling stops future payments; deleting your account is a separate step, under your avatar > Settings > Delete Account.

Why is the price in US dollars?

The operator, High Intent Media Inc, is a US company, and memberships are priced in US dollars. Your bank or card provider converts the charge to Australian dollars, so the amount on your statement can vary slightly with the exchange rate, and some cards add a foreign transaction fee.

Can I use Oasis Singles outside Australia?

Yes. The guides are written for Australians, but members can join from several countries, including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Canada, the US and South Africa. Because profiles are shared with partner sites, you may see members from those places too, so check where someone lives.
