A dating site for Australians outside the capitals and people who'd rather be outdoors, and a separate business from the Oasis site that closed in 2020.

In short

Oasis Singles is a dating site for Australians in regional towns and people who love an active, outdoor life. It is run by High Intent Media Inc, a Delaware corporation, and is a separate site from Oasis Active, which closed in 2020. Joining and browsing are free; reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership, priced in US dollars.

Who the site is for

Oasis Singles is for two overlapping groups of Australians: people who live where the dating pool is small enough that you recognise half of it, and people whose idea of a good Saturday involves a track, a beach or a footy ground rather than a cocktail bar.

Think the Hunter, the Riverina, Sunraysia, regional Victoria and Queensland, Tasmania, and the coastal towns in between. Our guides are written for those situations: dating in a small town, dating around FIFO and shift rosters, dating on the land, and active first dates for people who'd rather be moving than sitting.

Who runs it

Oasis Singles is run by High Intent Media Inc, a Delaware corporation (file no. 10670515), registered office 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA. The site has been online since 2021. This version was rebuilt in October 2026 to focus on regional and active Australians, and to be clearer about how the service works.

Membership is provided through the members area and governed by its terms and privacy policy. This website has its own short privacy policy and terms of use.

Not the Oasis site that closed

Oasis Active was a separate Australian dating site that closed in 2020. Oasis Singles is a different site, run by a different company, with no access to its members, accounts or records. If you had an account there, it doesn't exist here, and you would start with a new profile. Our log in help page explains this, and your dating site closed: how to choose somewhere new covers tidying up after an old account.

How the service works with partner sites

Oasis Singles shares one member database with a network of partner dating sites. Your profile can be seen by members of those sites, and they can message you. Profiles show which site a member joined through. That gives you more people to browse, and it means some of them will be outside Australia or a long way from you.

What's free, what's paid, and what's checked

The short version: looking is free, talking is paid, and photos are checked but words aren't.

Free members see ads. Every photo is reviewed; what members write about themselves is not checked. Members can buy an optional ID-verified badge (photo ID plus a selfie), and ID checks are required for some sign-ups, such as through a VPN or when an account is flagged. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel in Settings > Billing. Prices are on the prices page, and the step-by-step is in how Oasis Singles works.

What we don't claim

We don't publish member numbers, success stories or testimonials, and we don't say profiles are checked, because what members write isn't. If you see a claim like that about Oasis Singles somewhere else, it didn't come from us.

Guides, safety and getting in touch

The guides on this website are written to be useful whether or not you join. How we write our guides explains how we check facts and handle corrections. Our safety page explains where to report a problem in Australia, including Scamwatch and ReportCyber. To get in touch, see contact; the key details are also on one page at Oasis Singles facts.

Questions people ask

Is Oasis Singles Australian?

The site is written for Australians, especially outside the capitals, but it's run by High Intent Media Inc, a company registered in Delaware, USA. That's why memberships are priced in US dollars and your bank converts the charge to Australian dollars. The guides use Australian services, phone numbers and spelling throughout.

Is Oasis Singles the old Oasis Active under a new name?

No. Oasis Active closed in 2020. Oasis Singles is a separate site run by a different company, and old accounts, messages and payments didn't come across. If you had a profile on the old site, you'd start here with a new one, and your old login details won't work.

Who will I meet?

Members who joined Oasis Singles, plus members of partner sites in the same network, because profiles are shared across the network. Members can join from several countries, including Australia, New Zealand and the UK, so not everyone will be near you. Check where someone says they live before you get invested.

What does Oasis Singles check?

Every photo is reviewed. What members write about themselves, such as age, location or job, is not checked. Members can add an optional, paid ID-verified badge using a photo ID and a selfie, and ID checks are required for some sign-ups, such as through a VPN. Use the usual care with anyone you meet.
